We've started learning about early exploration. Would you have liked to go on an expedition to find a sea route to the Spice Islands? Why or why not?
Describe what you think think that experience would be like. What would it be like on the open seas? What navigation tools would you have used? What features would you caravel have to help you on your journey?

Hi I wold love to now more aboute all of the Explore's it cool to take a trip to a mosam to lern more aboute them I just wold like for people to now all these cool stofe but im just saying that wold be cool but if you would let us we probuly kold all kinds of stof aboute them but if not i cold just bring some stof in from the computer they sond so endresting but i now alout about them now but the stof old explore's did was grat but if you do i would love if you could tell the class more about it like how they got a bowt how gave it to them and if markow polows dad died and wiy did he die if hey just was old and it was it his time to die how old was he from sb

I would love to be at sea. Finding new places to live.
Traveling to get spices. My hero is my dad because he used to go traveling to diffrent places and finding other things to build. The adventurer marco polo is the one who has gone to china and found new places. That is who I want to be.

i would not like to go out and explore because then you miss out on whats going on outside of the boat/car but then yet again i would love to leave home and explore and learn about the world and all its twists and turns and all of its paths but i would still want to come home every now and than at least 17 times a year

would if you go out and explore the world your missing home soooo much and you parent/gardian wont take you or let you come home. what do you do?do you tell you parent/gardian that for your birthday you want to go home and stay home or do you ask you parent/gardian if your old enough to go on with out them and walk for months?CC

hey mrs.best so far my favorite explorer is barthalomew dias because he was the very first person to sail around the tip of africa
Hi I would like to explore on the sea because i have gone on a 3 hour dinner cruise and hade a great time. So i think that being on sea even longer searching for something it would be even better. I cant wait to learn more aboiut exploration. I dont like how people just kid napped Marco Polo and made him a prisioner for there own good he didnt deserve that. Its also reall;y sad how his dad got sick and died. But my answer is to explore.

explorer we learned and his name is Vasco Da Gama and he was the first to sail around the tip of Africa and reach India.Bartolomeo Dias was the first to sail to the tip of Africa but he thought he was to far awayfrom Porgugal so he sailed back to
Porgugal.Canals sailed across the Atlantic Ocean
to Brazil and made a few stops in Africa.

I would like to explore the open sea because I'm the kind of person that likes to get credit for doing things that nobody else has ever done. I also think it would be cool to adventure an unknown island with strangers. GF
hi Mrs.Best i was wondering what it would be like to explore the entire world with only 200 men not a lot of food supply a sextant an hour glass and an astrolabe and a compass would you try sailing around the world with at least 200 strangers and not know anything about them? i wouldn't! I woudln't sail with 200 men in the middle of open water you never know what would happen and your far away from home so you wouldn't be able to turn back and get food if you run out. that would be like being to scared to follow your dreams.
