We've been reading and writing a lot of poetry in class. Please post a Haiku poem here. It can be a Haiku you've written yourself or read. Just make sure that you credit the author if you didn't write the poem. Remember a Haiku poem has three lines (make sure to type it that way) and a 5-7-5 syllable pattern. I can't wait to read your poetry!
Imagine that you are a colonist during the Revolutionary War. Would you be loyal to Britain and the King or would you be in favor of independence from England. Explain your answer using details from our reading and discussions.
What book are you reading? Do you like it, why or why not? Post the title and author of your book. Also, tell us a little bit about your book without giving away the ending. Read other student's posts and maybe you'll find a new book that you may be interested in.
We've read about astronauts, Michael Collins, Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong, who have traveled to space and explored the moon. Would you want to be an astronaut exploring unknown planets? Why or why not?
